NOLA Jail Escapee Antoine Massey Aunt Say’s He Is “Not A Monster” And “It’s Not His Fault” [VIDEO]

10 inmates broke out of a New Orleans the jail on May 16.  8 of the 10 have been found and re-jailed.   As the man hunt continues, people are being arrested for helping, the escapees before and after the fact.  Antoine Massey, one of the last two still missing, sister 31 year old Daishanae Massey, was arrested after police say she helped her brother both before and after he broke out of lockup.  His Antoine Massey’s aunt is saying there are two sides to every story.

The aunt of Antoine Massey took to social media to say people are opening old wounds that their family is trying to bury, he is not a monster and this is not his fault.  Massey’s aunt says that watching the execution of his father, who was her brother, has affected him, his sister that has been arrested for allegedly trying to help him as well as their mother.  She also says that all he wanted to do is see his mother and his baby graduate, he is scared and wants to go home.  She continues to say that he is not all there, he knows right from wrong but the system raised him.  According to Antoine Massey’s aunt in his mind he can’t do 14 more years, after being in and out of prison all his life.

32 year old Antoine Massey was in jail after being charged with domestic abuse involving strangulation and theft of a motor vehicle.

There is a $50K reward  for anyone with information leading to the arrest of either Antoine Massey or Derrick Groves.
