Netflix New Documentary: Michelle Obama ‘Becoming’

Streaming giant NETFLIX has been holding us down while we shelter in from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Although new movies being made have been on hold, NETFLIX promised they had enough in the vault to keep us entertained.

 Next coming out the vault is ‘Becoming’ about our favorite FLOTUS, Michelle Obama.

‘Becoming’ is a documentary that is a production that is part of a producing partnership between NETFLIX and the Obama’s, Barack and Michelle, that follows the former first lady on her travels when she brought us her New York Best Seller Memoir, about the intimate details of her life/journey that brought her to the White House.  

The film offers a rare and up-close look at her life, taking viewers behind the scenes as she embarks on a 34-city tour that highlights the power of community to bridge our divides and the spirit of connection that comes when we openly and honestly share our stories.

‘Becoming’ is the 3rd film from Team 44’s Higher Ground Productions, directed by Nadia Hallgren, and is scheduled to stream on Netflix May 6, 2020.
