NC Woman Doused With Gas And Set On Fire Walking To Dollar General [VIDEO]

Prayers and the publics help is being solicited as North Carolina police are searching for individuals that left a 20 year old woman fighting for her life after she was doused in gasoline and set on fire while walking to a Dollar General store.

According to WRAL, 20-year-old Ashanti Downey was walking to Dollar General on December 16 when someone approached her and poured a flammable liquid on her before setting her on fire. She was rushed to the hospital and later transferred to a burn center, suffering from second and third/ degree burns to her body.

In a Christmas Day update, the mother of Ashanti Downey, Donecia Davis says that her daughter will be going through a third surgery soon.
