MSNBC Political Commentator Joy Reid became a fans favorite for keeping things real on “The ReidOut,” with her no holds barred interviews that at times called for her to have to ‘read’ somebody.
As we are trying to figure out what’s going on politically in America with the change of administration, MSNBC was cancelled Joy Reid’s show “The ReidOut”
Reportedly as part of a broader programming overhaul aimed at boosting ratings, Joy Reid’s 7 p.m. slot will reportedly be replaced by a new panel show featuring co-hosts Alicia Menendez, Michael Steele, and Symone Sanders Townsend, according to insiders who spoke with The New York Times. Joy Reid has been with MSNBC since 2014 and has hosted “The ReidOut” since 2020, allegedly Joy Reid lost half her audience since President Donald Trumps re-election.
Ironically enough just days before MSNBC announced the cancellation of “The ReidOut” MSNBC congratulated Joy Reid on their social media for receiving multiple NAACAP awards.
Congratulations to the “The ReidOut with Joy Reid,” which received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding News/Information Series. Joy Reid also received an award for her book “Medgar & Myrlie” in the Outstanding Literary Work category. (see video below)
