Hip Hop gets a bad rap, pardon the pun, for it’s lyrical negative message, however Deb Antney in an interview alludes to the perception of so called reality television is worse.
Deb Antney, a much known/respected entertainment manager and the founder and CEO of Mizay Entertainment, in a recent interview spoke about the negative condemnation that emanates through the portrayal of young woman and men on the hit reality show, ‘Love and Hip Hop’, a show that she as well as her famous son, Waka Flocka, and daughter in-law, Tammy Rivera, were a part of for 6 seasons, and the added struggles that the reality TV show it put’s on a marriage.
“It’s very disgraceful for women,” “It makes our men look horrible. I’m just not for it. I’m not for the drama like that.”
Deb Antney saying that the 15 secs that they get to show you who they are in a relationship causes for a rushed opinion of a persons lives, and watching that negativity play out on her family destroyed her inside.
