Mother, Daughter Fight Results In Being Arrested For Fracturing Grandbaby’s Skull [VIDEO]

There is a saying that goes “it’s best to walk away” meaning that sometimes the most beneficial action in a difficult situation is to remove oneself physically or emotionally from it.   A saying that a  grandmother and mother are probably wishing that adhered too, following being arrested for fighting, that resulted in an infants head being fractured.

Disheekia McDowell, 39, and her daughter, Jada McDowell, 22, of Louisiana were both arrested after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at Disheekia’s home.  Allegedly the two were arguing before things turned physical to where they were striking each other with household items.  Things went dangerously wrong when, Jada picked up her infant daughter and continued fighting.  The infant got hit during the fight and ended up in the hospital where it was discovered that the baby’s skull was fractured.

Both mother and grandmother were arrested and charged with the following, domestic abuse battery with child endangerment and second-degree cruelty to juveniles.

Grandmother Disheekia McDowell’s bail was set at $160,000 while the mother of the infant, Jada McDowell’s bail was set at $105,000.
