Mom Braids Hair For Her Community Now Blessings Are Raining Down On Her

Three years ago Brittany Starks was a mother homeless when she moved to Nashville, TN. A friend helped her out by giving her children clothing, shoes and school supplies when she didn’t have money to purchase these things for her children, instead of looking at a blessing, saying thank you and moving on, Brittany Starks who was a hairstylist decided to become a blessing to others by braiding hair of girls and boys in the community for free.

Now with this, look at God.

People took notice and with the help of a GoFundMe that raised $40,000, Brittany Starks will be starting a nonprofit organization that will host monthly braiding events and help tutor children.

“One thing that kept me motivated was the smile on the kids’ faces, how happy they were afterward, the pictures I continue to see that the parents are posting. It brings me joy the kids are so much happier,”
