Michelle Obama Will Be Skipping Donald Trump’s Inauguration

Barack Obama is going to the inauguration stag.

Michelle Obama didn’t attend Jimmy Carter’s funeral, now she has made it official that she will be skipping Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Former first lady Michelle Obama’s office said Tuesday, without providing an explanation for her decision:

“Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former first lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration.”

It is tradition that former presidents as well as first ladies attend the official swearing of the president elect, former President George W. Bush and Laura Bush will attend the inauguration, as well as former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton.  

Given Michelle Obama and Trump’s history, can you be mad at her?
