A beautiful Mexican navy sailing ship, called the Cuauhtemoc, sailing on the East River in New York, on a global goodwill tour, struck the Brooklyn Bridge. The horrifying scene that was captured on videos by eyewitnesses on Saturday has left 2 dead and 17 injured.
The Cuanhtemoc which was flying a giant Mexican flag and had 277 people aboard, could be scene drifting into a pier on the riverbank with witnesses screaming, striking the Brooklyn Bridge. Praise God no one traveling across the Brooklyn Bridge where injured.
It was unclear what caused the Cuauhtemoc to veer off course. New York Police Department Special Operations Chief Wilson Aramboles said the ship had just left a Manhattan pier and was supposed to have been headed out to sea, not toward the bridge.
