Mary J. Blige Announces New Talk Show Coming To ‘BET’ ‘The Wine Down’

Grammy Award winning singer Mary J. Blige has been giving us the ‘411’ since busting on to the Hip Hop scene in 1988.  Healing the masses with her lyrical therapy as we followed her through her life maturations, listening to each album like a musical biography.

We have watched Mary J. Blige grow from just simply being a R&B singer, to the Queen of R&B, to an Oscar nominated actress.  So who would be better then to get their own television talk show then the Queen that lives by ‘No More Drama’ in her life, Mary J. Blige.

Mary. J Blige will have “real conversations” with “the hottest, most outspoken” celebs in their field over a glass of wine on her new show, on The first BET  unscripted talk show series called “The Wine Down.”  Mary J. Blige also has her own wine label Sun Goddess, which guests might be sipping on during the episodes.    Speaking of guest that might be partaking in sip on The Wine Down include acclaimed actress Taraji P. Henson and rapper Yung Miami of City Girls.

According to Mary J. Blige in a released statement:

“BET has been one of my biggest supporters throughout my career,” …“Being able to now create together, for them to be so supportive of my vision for the type of content I will create, is something I am grateful and excited for.
