Los Angeles Woman Once Was Lost, But Now Found, Behind Bars In Miami [VIDEO]

We live in scary times where it seems like human trafficking is on the uprise, so can you imagine how your mind would race when your female loved one just disappears one day!?  A Los Angeles family experienced that fear when their loved one disappeared almost a year ago.  Praise God that the Los Angeles woman who was once lost, is now found, not due to foul play, but behind bars in Miami.

In July of last year, a Los Angeles family and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office eagerly looked for information on 39-year-old Destiny Riddle.  According to a post at the time by the NAACP, “Destiny hasn’t been active on social media and hasn’t visited her mom in weeks, leaving her loved ones and the community deeply concerned,”   

The families prayers were answered when Destiny Riddle was booked in to the Miami-Dade County Jail on aggravated battery and battery charges, being involved in a car crash, running over a 69 year old man, then attacking the passenger in his vehicle.  Destiny Riddle who reportedly has asked the courts that she represent herself as her legal council, said that,

“those people hit me with their car first and drove off.”…”I understand you are committing an act of treason by not releasing me from this courtroom and not releasing me from this prison,” 

Needless to say hearing from everyone, including the victim who claimed he was afraid for his life and thought Destiny Riddle was going to kill him, the judge denied Riddle a bond.  Destiny Riddle’s mother Julie Riddle who was present in court say’s she was extremely concerned for her daughter’s mental health.

“She is totally out of touch with her entire family. She’s displayed paranoia, schizophrenia. She was on the missing person’s report, since July of 2024 we had not heard from her,”

What happened to Destiny Riddle and why she was in Miami, after reported missing for almost a year has not been revealed.
