Lil Waynes Speaks On NOLA Super Bowl Snub ‘It Broke Me. It Hurt a Whole Lot’ [VIDEO]

Season opening Sunday for the NFL last weekend came with the news that Kendrick Lamar has officially been announced as the headliner for the 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime show, scheduled for February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans and will air on Fox.  K-Dot fans were pumped however Lil Wayne fans and colleagues felt that Weezy got snubbed, seeing that the Super Bowl is going down in his hometown.

Lil Wayne has taken to his social media posting a video speaking on the alleged NOLA Super Bowl snub .

“I had to get strength enough to do this without breaking,”… “That hurt. Hurt a lot,” …“It hurt a whole lot. I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a letdown. And just automatically mentally putting myself in that position.”…“Y’all are f—ing amazing,” … “It made me feel like s— not getting this opportunity and when I felt like s—, you guys reminded me that I ain’t s— without y’all. And that’s an amazing reality.”
