We read and hear all the time about co-parenting that turns into a civil war, especially among celebrities. However it seems there is one par of celebrities that were a high profile couple that didn’t seem to make it in marriage but didn’t let that stop them from being successful co-parents. Rapper Lil Wayne and Reality Star Toya interviewed their daughter Reginae in a recent podcast on co-parenting 101 and although all involved are still public figures they all seemed to get it right.
Toya Johnson and Lil Wayne are ex-spouses and parents to their daughter, Reginae Carter. Lil Wayne is a legendary rapper, while Toya Johnson is a television personality, author, and entrepreneur. They met as teenagers, married in 2004, had a daughter together, and divorced in 2006. Since then Lil Wayne has had other famous relationships that produced other children, such as Lauren London and Nivea. While Toya is married to former sports manager and business man Robert Rushing with whom she shares another daughter with. All involved are one big happy family.
