Late Great’s Whitney Houston and Notorious B.I.G. Head To The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame

Congratulations are in order to fans of GREAT MUSIC as well as the families of the late great’s singer Whitney Houston and Notorious B.I.G. as the announcement has been made that they will be inducted into the class of 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Whitney Elizabeth Houston a six time Grammy award winning singer who passed away suddenly in 2012 at the age of 48, to date remains one of the best-selling music artists of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide.

Christopher George Latore Wallace was shot and killed at the young age of 24.  The rapper who went by the name of The Notorious B.I.G./Biggie Smalls  was a lyrical genius. Biggie recorded two studio albums before his death. He won four Billboard Music Awards, one Billboard Music Video Award, was nominated for four Grammy Awards, and two MTV Video Music Awards nominations, winning one.  The highest certification an album can earn, as far as record sales, is Diamond. There are seven Diamond certified albums in the history of hip-hop, one belonging to Biggie and two belonging to Tupac Shakur who was inducted into the Rock Hall in 2017.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, located in Cleveland, OH will induct these legends along with Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, T. Rex, Irving Azoff and Jon Landau on May 2, 2020.
