Larry Hoover Receives Pardoned On Donald Trump’s Clemency Spree [VIDEO]

74 year old Chicago native Larry Hoover, is in prison because he was convicted of various crimes, including murder, conspiracy, extortion, money laundering, and running a continuing criminal enterprise from state prison. He was initially sentenced to 150 to 200 years for a 1973 murder and later received an additional life sentence in 1997 for his continued criminal activities from within prison, receives a pardon from Donald Trump’s clemency spree.

President Donald Trump has been a busy man since taking office in January of 2025, rolling back DEI, slapping the world with tariffs now he has turned his attentions to pardons.  

Larry Hoover is allegedly the founder of the Chicago street gang, the Gangster Disciples, and a former street gang leader.

Larry Hoover, who has been referred to as one of the most notorious criminals in Illinois history, Attorney Jennifer Bonjean confirmed to ABC7 Wednesday that her client, Hoover, is being granted clemency by the president. The White House also confirmed to ABC News the commutation of the federal sentence.

 Hoover still faces the remainder of a 200-year state sentence for a 1973 Chicago murder.
