Katt Williams came out the bag in an interview on Shannon Sharpes podcast ‘Club Shay Shay’ with a conversation that set the internet on fire back in 2024. Two years later Katt Williams just dropped something for everyone to put in a bag, a book bag this, as he has bares it all in a new memoir titled “Nine Lives, No Wives and 69 Concubines”.
55 year old, Dayton, OH native, actor/comedian, Katt Williams used to knock out 3,000 books a year shares with USA TODAY how his passion for storytelling inspired the memoir that chronicles his life.
“I believed that no matter how treacherous the chapters were beforehand, that good things happen if you keep living your life a certain way,” … “So to get to this point, I wasn’t really sure what other people might get out of the story, but I knew that stories had been so helpful to me in my life, and just learning what other people had to go through to get where they are was just whether it was fiction or nonfiction, just that component in a story always personally gave me hope.”
More then just a memoir, “Nine Lives, No Wives and 69 Concubines” is a rags to riches testimony that starts somewhere around a young 13 year old Katt Williams being homeless, a situation he has talked about in gest before but the full story is heartbreaking.
“Nine Lives, No Wives and 69 Concubines” is out now.
