Jimmy Butler Wants His Joy Back, Requests Trade, Miami Suspends Him [VIDEO]

Miami Heats Jimmy Butler publicly stated his unhappiness following the Heat’s 128–115 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night. Jimmy Butler said that he wanted his joy back, that he was happy off the court but not on the court.  Miami Heat responded one day later suspending Jimmy Butler for his comments.

On top of that, the Miami Heat is now saying it will listen to trade offers.

“We have suspended Jimmy Butler for seven games for multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team over the course of the season and particularly the last several weeks,” “Jimmy Butler and his representative have indicated that they wish to be traded, therefore, we will listen to offers.”

The suspension would cost Jimmy Butler $2.35 million dollars and National Basketball Players Association is not happy saying that they intend to file a grievance, calling the suspension “excessive and inappropriate.”

The NBA trade deadline is February 6th.
