Who needs mixers and scratchers when you can have a 101 piece orchestra on stage with you? Only entertainers that are true testaments to the music industry receive such high honors as receiving a Las Vegas Residency. Rapper Jeezy has announced back in September that he has accomplished the great achievement of a Las Vegas Residency, now doubling down on his greatness by breaking a world record for having the largest Orchestra for a Hip-Hop music concert.
Jeezy’s promised his Las Vegas Residency at Planet Hollywood Vegas show would have a different twist and will be even bigger than his tour stops, and he did just as promised.
The residency, named TM:101 Live after Jeezy’s hit album from 2005, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, twist was Jeezy setting a world record for the largest orchestra for a hip-hop music concert by performing with 101 members of The Color of Noize orchestra. At the Nov. 1 show, Guinness World Records adjudicator Andy Glass personally presented Jeezy with an official certificate marking the achievement.
