Grammy award winning singer Jazmine Sullivan, won her first Grammy in 2022 for Best R&B Performance for “Pick Up Your Feelings” and ‘Best R&B Album’ with ‘Heaux Tale’s’, the 38 year old’s tales that she has been through in life is what has made her music so powerful as a singer/song writer. A young Jazmine Sullivan ‘Fearless’ busted on the scene back in 2008 with ‘Bust Your Windows’ giving a sexy anthem to checking their man. Jazmine Sullivan who wasn’t feeling the business of show business because of her passion of being simply a great artist stepped away from the business. Then returned with a mater piece of an album “Reality Show” that sizzled up the airwaves with ‘Let It Burn’. Sadly Jazmine Sullivan lost her mother in 2023 after a battle with breast cancer. How much can Jazmine Sullivan take?? Recently Jazmine Sullivan has written something that hasn’t made it onto an album but rather her social media that is touching all that read it soul, the loss of her son that she never met.
Jazmine Sullivan in a heartfelt Instagram Story on Thursday, just one day after turning 38, opened up about her grief and how difficult life has been recently.
“Whew.. thank yall for ur birthday wishes,” “Leading up to my birthday has been incredibly hard as I’ve been thinking abt my mother and missing her more than words can say.” She went on to share. “I would have been holding my 2-month-old son that I never got to meet,” she shared. “So needless to say I’ve been down bad.”
