Jay-Z Acceptance Speech at The 2021 Rock Hall Induction Ceremony

It’s the Hard Knock Life that can do one of two things, you can allow them to keep you in the vicious cycle or it can act as a Blue Print to catapult you to your greatness and in the case of a young Shawn Carter he took the hardest of the two with a path that has now led him to music history books on the highest level.

Hip Hop Black Royalty was in Cleveland this weekend to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Mr. Shawn Carter aka Jay-Z humble graced the CLE stage while paying homage to those who paved the way for him.

The 51 year old Jay-Z now husband and father of three, 23 Grammy Award winning  rapper was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by comedian Dave Chappelle and our forever president Barack Obama.

“Hopefully, I’m informing the next generation that anything is possible, I don’t know what’s next — In fact, I do know what’s next. I have to go to court Monday. There’s good and bad, life is about balance — But you know, tonight, we’re going to enjoy tonight. I appreciate this honor. Sorry for this long-ass speech, but I had to give it up. We did it, Brooklyn!”
