Issa Mistake!! Audience Checks Interviewer For Mispronouncing Issa Rae’s Name [VIDEO]

There are rules when conducting an interview with people.  The first is to do a little research on who you are interviewing and why.  Second, now the base questions that you are going to ask.  The third rule and probably the most important rule is to know the person you are interviewing name, and how to pronounce it.  Because messing up number Issa a huge mistake that after the interview may leave you feeling ‘Insecure’ about your job shelf life.

Recently 38 year old, actress, writer, and producer, Issa Rae sat down for an interview at the CultureCon conference in NYC, that was being moderated by AmEx’s, Glenda McNeal, when McNeal introduced Issa (pronounced Ee-suh) as Is A Rae, and the crowd quickly checked Glenda McNeal.

Issa laughed it off while Glenda McNeal made an attempt to clean it up and apologize by quickly telling the crowd that it was okay, Issa mistake, she was part of the community.
