Homeless Detroit Mother Who’s Children Froze To Death Has Been Blessed With A New Home [VIDEO]

There is no way to replace the loss of a child, much less children, however blessings do come at our darkest times.

A mother in Detroit, Tateona Williams, had been homeless for months when on a night with frigid temperatures decided to park in a Detroit Casino, Hollywood Casino Hotel at Greektown, parking lot to get some sleep.  When she woke up she found that two of her children, a 9 and 2 year old had froze to death.  How can this happen in America where we have so many resources?  According to the mom she tried to get help, but it took her children dying to get it.  Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan said outreach workers are sent out. He said that the family never called back, and as far as they know, no one reached back out to the family to see if their situation was resolved.

The grave break down in communication cost Tateona Williams her children, however her story as well as telling her story, that could be hundreds of single homeless mother’s stories, caused a community to reach out and bless her with help.

The city of Detroit and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, has blessed Tateona Williams, that has 2 other surviving children, with a new home free for one year, as well as furniture and food.

Tateona Williams, who thinks about her children that she lost daily, had this to say about her new home:

“I love the house. I think it’s wonderful. I like it and I think it’s wonderful,”  “It actually means a lot. It’s a lot I’m going through right now, so this makes me happy because I was sad today. I have been having a rough day all day today.”

Look at God, in the video below.
