Hill Harper Following In BFF Barack’s Footsteps

Actor Hill Harper rode with his college friend Barack Obama up the of Capital Hill to find residency in the White House for 8 years.  Now Hill Harper is following in Barack’s footsteps, as he has announced he is vying for a seat on the U.S. Senate.

57 year old Hill Harper took to his person Instagram page to make the announcement for running for the Michigan Senate seat.

While a student at Harvard, Hill Harper befriended Barack Obama, with whom he played basketball. In 2012, Harper was appointed to The President’s Cancer Panel, the fully vetted three-member body assigned to work with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and make recommendations to the White House around cancer policy.

Hill Harper is best known for his roles as Dr. Sheldon Hawkes in CSI: NY, Agent Spelman Boyle in Limitless and Dr. Marcus Andrews in The Good Doctor.
