Gunman That Killed 4 In Manhattan Leaves Note Saying He Had CTE [VIDEO]

A gunman entered a Manhattan, New York office building Monday, July 28th,  killing 4 people.  The gunman who had killed himself with a single gunshot to the chest has been identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura.  Today police have given insight as to the possible reasons why Tamura did it.

According to a report Shane Tamura was allegedly targeting the NFL headquarters.  Authorities say that Tamura left a 3 page note in his wallet.  Tamura believed he was suffering from CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disease associated with repeated head trauma, often seen in athletes involved in contact sports like football.)  Shane Tamura is believed to have driven from his home in Las Vegas to New York.  Tamura the note, repeatedly said he was sorry and asked that his brain be studied for CTE, according to the police department.  The note accused the NFL of concealing the dangers to players’ brains for profit.

Shane Tamura played high school football in Los Angeles but did not play professionally.
