Former basketball star Gilbert Arenas and Reality Star Laura Govan’s son 18 year old high school basketball phenom Alijah Arenas, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after crashing his Tesla Cybertruck into a tree and fire hydrant in April in Los Angeles. According to sources to ESPN Alijah Arenas was been placed in a medically induced coma following a car crash.  Praise God, Alijah Arenas is doing better, after suffering from smoke inhalation from the wreck.  At the time no cause of the accident was given, however now Gilbert Arenas says the cause of the wreck was due to his son’s Cybertruck malfunctioning.

During a recent interview with Matt Barnes on “All The Smoke,” Arenas claimed that as his son Alijah was driving his luxury Tesla ride in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley on April 24, his “steering wheel went limp,” causing him to lose control of his Cybertruck.  Accorindg to Gilbert Arenas the vehicle then caught on fire but his son, Alijah wasn’t able to escape, because the windows were bulletproof, and he couldn’t break the windows.
