Gilbert Arenas Advice To Ja Morant [VIDEO]

This is how you bring about change.  Reach your hand back and pull someone forward or just offer up some damn good advice, and that’s what former NBA player Gilbert Arenas is offering to Ja Morant.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was expressed his shocked at seeing another social media video of Ja Morant holding a firearm, following which, the Memphis Grizzlies superstar released a statement acknowledging the disappointment he has caused those who have supported him.  The Grizzlies then once again suspended Morant from all offseason team activities, pending the league office’s review of the video, less than two months after Morant and Silver met to discuss a similar incident that resulted in an eight-game suspension.

In 2009  Gilbert Arenas brought unloaded guns to the Wizards locker room, and dared Crittenton to shoot him. The conflict was over a bet Crittenton had with JaVale McGee.  While nobody was harmed in the incident, the fact guns, loaded or unloaded, were brought into the locker room is scary to think about.  Now 14 years later at 41 years old Gilbert Arenas is offer some sound advice in light of what’s happening in Ja Morant’s world and how it can effect his career, follow Kobe Bryant and LeBron James‘ blueprint and focus on being great.

“What do you want your legacy to be?”  “I did 99 things right. I did one thing wrong. Everybody remembers the one thing. No matter how many championships, how many scoring titles you win. They’re going to remember this moment in this time.”
