Folks Are Not Feeling Golden Globe Host Whitney Houston Joke [VIDEO]

The Golden Globe Award Show powers that be heard the complaints about ‘inclusion’ so in an effort to be inclusive they chose 35 year old, stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and filmmaker, Jerrod Carmichael to host the show.  We are not sure if his jokes were written, or if he was nervous, or just doing too much but people were not feeling his comedic flow especially the joke he told about the legendary singer Whitney Houston, including Whitney’s family.

One of the times the 2023 Golden Globe Show returned from a commercial break, host Jerrod Carmichael, segue wayed in by saying:

 “So, we are here, live, from the hotel that killed Whitney Houston, the Beverly Hilton”

Not only were the audience members and viewers taken back by the “joke”,  Whitney Houston’s longtime manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston was as well.  According to a statement released by Pat Houston:

“The Whitney Houston Estate is disappointed in the joke, and felt it was in poor taste.”

That wasn’t the only joke, that Jerrod Carmichael told that night that people took issue with.

Maybe they should have chosen a more seasoned host to be inclusive with like D.L. Hughley…#IJS
