Five Ex-Memphis Officers Indicted On Murder and Kidnapping Charges Of Tyre Nichols [VIDEO]

Officers pulled over a motorist, identified as Tyre Nichols, for alleged reckless driving the previous day.  Tyre Nichols ended up dead after being beaten by police.  A beating that is being described, after watching video, like watching a ‘human piñata’.  

All 5 officers involved in the beating of Tyre Nichols were fired and two members of the Memphis Fire Department who were part of Nichols’ “initial patient care” were relieved of duty.

Today it’s being reported in announcement by Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy that the five former officers, Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Justin Smith, Emmitt Martin and Desmond Mills Jr., have each been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, two charges of aggravated kidnapping, two charges of official misconduct and one charge of official oppression in the death of Tyre Nichols.
