Federal Judge Overturned The Conviction Of One Man Found Guilty In Murder of Jam Master Jay [VIDEO]

In 2024 almost 22 years after Jam Master Jay the DJ for the legendary rap group Run-DMC, was gunned down and murdered inside of his own studio, two men were convicted of murder of Run-DMC star Jam Master Jay. Ronald Washington, Jay’s childhood friend, and Karl Jordan Jr., Jay’s godson, were convicted of murder while engaged in narcotics trafficking and firearm-related murder.  It’s now being reported that a Federal judge has overturned the conviction of one of the men.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall vacated the conviction of Jam Master Jay’s god son, Karl Jordan Jr., ruling prosecutors failed to prove he had a drug-related motive for the murder.
