Father Of Sonya Massey Killed By Illinois Sheriff Speaks [VIDEO]

The worst nightmare of any parent is to bury their child.  In the case of Sonya Massey’s father he is living our worst nightmare.  To make the nightmare worse is to find out that his child’s life was taken not by an intruder but by a person that is paid to protect.

The law enforcement visit to Sonya Massey’s home near Springfield, Illinois, earlier this month began with a calm conversation between the 36-year-old Black woman and two White sheriff’s deputies at her front door and in her living room.  The interaction ended with Sonya Massey being shot in the head by a white sheriff.  

According to Sonya Massey’s father he was led to believe that his daughter was killed by an intruder, and he didn’t find out differently until his brother checked out the story.
