We take two steps forward, and it appears that some want to take things all the way back. The city of Minneapolis prepared for justice not being served for the murder of George Floyd before the judge read the verdict of Derek Chauvin the ex-police officer that stood trial for George Floyd’s murder. But instead of mayhem cheers rang out around the world as the breathe of justice was announced that Derek Chauvin was found guilty of 3 counts of murder for taking the last breathe of George Floyd. A murder that took place on a viral video for the world to see. With change in administration, people want to see change in the verdict of Derek Chauvin and Elon Musk, Donald Trump’s right hand man is saying amen to the suggestion that Derek Chauvin be pardoned.
Ben Shapiro host of “The Ben Shapiro Show”, has launched a petition backing a public letter to Donald Trump, contending that Derek Chauvin, was “unjustly convicted” of Floyd’s killing, which led to riots in cities across the US and a national reckoning on the issues of race and policing.
In response to a video by Ben Shapiro suggesting that President Donald Trump should pardon Derek Chauvin, the former police officer convicted and sentenced to 22.5 years in the death of George Floyd, Elon Musk commented that it was “something to think about.”
