Elon Musk Say’s Donald Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ Is A “Disgusting Abomination”

We guess the love affair between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump is over.  In January 2025 Elon Musk leading ‘DOGE’ took a chainsaw to Federal jobs, when Donald Trump created the temporary position/department for Musk to make America’s finances great again.  It’s now June Elon Musk‘s temporary position is over and it looks like the love affair between he and President Donald Trump is as well as Elon Musk took to his ‘X’ platform (formerly known as Twitter) to say Trump’s  ‘Big, Beautiful Bill‘ is a “disgusting abomination”.

For those who don’t know President Donald Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’, also known as the “Reconciliation Bill,” is a proposed piece of legislation that aims to make the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent and expand it. It also includes other policies like work requirements for benefits, border security measures, and changes to the tax code.   Meaning they will be making cuts to SNAP and Medicaid.

According to Elon Musk:

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” … “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.” … “In November next year, we fire all politicians who betrayed the American people,”

ie Republicans.

Oddly enough another avid Trump supporter Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Georgia, is against the bill as well and is catching heat for not reading the ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ before signing it.

White House Speaker Mike Johnson however said Musk was “flat wrong” about his criticisms on the spending bill and its effect on the deficit. The speaker said that Trump was also upset with Musk’s scathing appraisal of the bill.
