E. 99 Is Officially Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Way [VIDEO]

It is a most deserving day, as Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb has proclaimed August 11th Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Day and the place where it all started from E. 99 is officially Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Way.

What a way to celebrate Hip Hop’s 50 year anniversary, then paying homage to Clevelands own Grammy Award winning Bone Thugs-N-Harmony then to hang their name at Tha Crossroads of E 99 and St. Clair in Cleveland, OH, Over a year after fans created a petition to have a Cleveland intersection named “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Way” after the famous hip-hop group.

Back in 1991 the world was introduced to a new Hip Hop flow when the brothas Bone, Bizzy, Wish, Layzie, Krayzie, and Flesh-n-Bone blew Eazy-E’s mind with their style over a telephone.  That phone call led to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony becoming part of Hip Hop history when they exploded across the country with their 1st smash hit Thuggish Ruggish Bone, becoming one of the greatest rap groups of all time.
