The long awaited Kendrick Lamar Super Bowl Halftime show, with a song that was birthed from a beef, went down and fans were here for it, as he masterfully teased his smash hit diss track ‘Not Like Us’ before the beat finally dropped. There was so much controversy surrounding Kendrick Lamar performing ‘Not Like Us’ because of threats of a lawsuit, but the DAMN. Pulitzer Prize winning rapper symbolically made it all work, even including Drake’s allegedly exes, SZA and Serena Williams, to perform along side of him.
However, inquiring minds want to know, what Drake thought about it?
Drake took to IG posting some pics of himself performing on stage for thousands of fans while dripped with a massive OVO owl chain, which features over 100 carats of Asscher cut diamonds, along with a caption, “$$$inema.” Social Media sleuths equated the chain reference to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘a’ chain he wore during the Super Bowl alleging it was a reference to “a minor”
$$$: This symbol is widely used online to represent large sums of money or wealth
inema: used by people who are critical of Sinema’s political actions and believe she is too influenced by large donors
- The use of “$$$inema” is considered a derogatory term and is meant to be critical.
