Donald Trump Celebrates Stephen Colbert Getting Fired, Colbert Claps Back “Go ‘F’ Yourself” [VIDEO]

Some thought that Stephen Colbert would be able to retire from his staple post at ‘The Late Show” however fans were shocked when CBS announced that “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” will conclude after the upcoming TV season, calling it a “financial decision.”  While some believed it was for political reasons since the announcement followed the recent settlement CBS’ parent company, Paramount, agreed to with Donald Trump in a lawsuit he filed over a 2024 “60 Minutes” interview with then-Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. Colbert had denounced the settlement on his show, calling it a “big fat bribe”, then a week later they say “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” will be gone due to financial reasons. 

Whatever the reason Donald Trump took to his ‘Truth Social’ media platform to celebrate Colbert’s termination saying that is talent was lower than his ratings.

Clearly Trump didn’t understand that “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” isn’t quite over yet, opening himself up to much clap back by Colbert who really doesn’t have anything to lose so during The Late Show opening, Stephen Colbert took the opportunity to respond to Donald Trump‘s critique and celebration by telling him to “go f*** yourself”
