DJ Mustard Files For Sole Legal Custody Of His 3 Kids Because Is Ex Shaded Him On Social Media

MUSTARDDDDDDD, turn your TV’s on and your social media off ♫  because the revolution on social media might land you in court and cost you custody of your kids.

DJ Mustard blew up on the scene with the beats behind the Grammy Award winning rapper Kendrick Lamar.  However DJ Mustard likes to keep his career viral but his personal life off the record.  Hence DJ Mustard filing for sole legal custody of his three children by his ex-wife because according to him she is in violation of keeping their personal revolution private opposed to putting it on social media.

DJ  Mustard, whose government name is Dijon McFarlane, shares three children, Kiylan, 13, Kauner, 10, and Kody, 6, with his ex-wife Chanel. The former couple previously shared joint legal custody, and a judge had ordered both parents not to speak negatively about each other in front of the children or within their hearing.  Mustard alleges Chanel broke that order by making disparaging posts online, including a Threads post from October 26 where she criticized him following a dispute over their child’s football schedule. He claims her posts were meant to publicly attack him and gained significant online attention.  DJ Mustard is claiming the posts negatively impact their children and disrupt their co-parenting relationship. He is now requesting sole legal custody and is also asking the court to sanction Chanel $30,000 for allegedly violating the order.

DJ Mustard and Chanel married in 2020, and were divorced in 2024, with a divorce settlement giving Chanel a $315,000 spousal support buyout, and $24,500 per month in child support.

See DJ Mustard’s alleged receipts that caused the violation below.
