Detroit Teen Told Police She Found a Newborn On Porch, Come To Find Out She Really Had Given Birth To The Infant On Thanksgiving Alone [VIDEO]

A Detroit teenager told police that she had found a newborn baby on her front porch, then admits that she had really given birth to the baby alone on Thanksgiving in her bathroom.

According to 16-year-old Peyton Peoples says she didn’t know she was pregnant and gave birth alone on Thanksgiving inside her bathroom. She says she pushed three times and delivered the baby into the toilet, then went to TikTok to learn how to cut the umbilical cord. 

Peyton Peoples mom Kira who was at a family member’s house at the time, initially said when she was told the baby was left of her porch “Why my porch? That’s what I kept asking why my porch,” however she believed her daughter and posted the story on social media, where it quickly spread.

Peyton who says she was afraid to tell her mother about having the baby and the father had passed away earlier this year,  lied and claimed she discovered the baby outside. The infant was never on the porch. Peyton later confessed at Children’s Hospital in Detroit, where her mom called the baby a blessing and told doctors their family would make it work, even with finances already stretched.
