DEI Is Out, Bill to Make Trump’s Birthday a Federal Holiday Is In !?

Leaked internal documents from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency show how the team intends to carry out President Donald Trump’s purge of DEI initiatives from the federal government. President Donald Trump hours after swearing in began making good on promises to wage a war against such policies, inking an executive order banning DEI. DEI was created because marginalized communities have not always had equal opportunities for jobs or felt a sense of belonging in majority-White corporate settings, said Daniel Oppong, founder of The Courage Collective, a consultancy that advises companies on DEI.  So essentially the current administration wants DEI out.  What they want in is a bill to make Trump’s birthday a Federal Holiday.

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (R-NY) has introduced new legislation aiming to make June 14 a federal holiday in honor of Donald Trump. The bill, titled the Trump’s Birthday and Flag Day Holiday Establishment Act, would officially designate June 14 as “Trump’s Birthday and Flag Day” to commemorate both the former president’s contributions and the historical significance of Flag Day.
