Death Toll Rising On Dominican Republic Visitors

This has truly gotten scary, as the number of deaths of people vacationing in the Dominican Republic has risen to 9 since 2018.

The latest is Joseph Allen, 55, of New Jersey, he was found dead June 13 in his room at the Hotel Terra Linda in the coastal Dominican Republic city of Sousa. Allen was in the Dominican Republic vacationing with friends when he fell ill and was later found dead in his room at the resort.

Officials of the Dominican Republic are still saying that it is safe to travel to their country, and it is allegedly not known/clear how many of these deaths were from natural causes.

We can’t visit Cuba anymore but it’s okay to visit the Dominican Republic…hmmmm #IJS
