D’Angelo and Angie Stones Son, Michael Archer II, Reveal He Didn’t Know His Father Had Cancer Plus More [VIDEO]

2025 left R&B music fans heartbroken with the passing of two of their legends Angie Stone and D’Angelo that just happened to have found each other and in love having gave birth to a son together, Michael D’Angelo Archer II.  One can only imagine loosing 1 parent in one year unexpectantly but it is hard to wrap your mind around loosing two unexpectedly.  According to D’Angelo and Angie Stones son D’Angelo that is exactly what happened to him.

In an interview with The Shaderoom, Michael Archer II revealed that he was unaware of his father #DAngelo’s battle with pancreatic cancer at the time of his passing. He explained that his uncles were informed and revealed the situation to him as his father’s health worsened. Although Michael was taken aback by the news, he understood that his family was being considerate of his grief, especially since his mother, Angie Stone, had passed away just months prior.  Michael also shared on the Tamron Hall Show that he found out about his mother’s passing the day after his birthday. She had been privately battling kidney issues and had just received approval for a kidney transplant the day before her tragic car accident.
