Dallas Cowboys Defensive End Marshawn Kneeland Dies At 24 From An Alleged Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound [VIDEO]

Prayers are in order as it has been reported that Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland has passed at the age of 24 years old from what is being reported as a  self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday night.

The Dallas Cowboys in their announcement said Marshawn Kneeland “tragically” passed Thursday morning.

“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,”  “Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. “

Police said on November 5, 2025 they began assisting the Texas Department of Public Safety “with locating a vehicle that had evaded troopers during a pursuit.”  The police lost sight of the vehicle but relocated it minutes later, having crashed on Dallas Parkway heading southbound. Kneeland was later identified as the individual who fled the scene.

TMZ Sports obtained police dispatch audio operators in Texas are heard relaying information from Kneeland’s girlfriend, who stated she received a concerning message from the 24-year-old and was trying to contact the defensive end’s agent.  The girlfriend said Kneeland was armed and had a history of mental issues.

Marshawn Kneeland played two seasons for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. He played college football for the Western Michigan Broncos and was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft.

We will be keeping the family of Marshawn Kneeland uplifted in our prayers.
