D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser Announces Black Lives Matter Plaza Is Here To Stay

Last year this time protests where happening all over the world to end systemic racism, the president at the time chose to disrespect the climate of what was going on and even violently moved peaceful protesters out the way to take a photo-op in front of a historical Washington D.C. church without permission. The real leader of Washington D.C. said you know what change is gonna come and painted Black Lives Matter right in front of The White House.

Today Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is making the Black Lives Matter Plaza “a permanent art installation in the District.”:

“We’re undergoing a process to make the installation more permanent, with lighting and landscaping and all the things that you expect in an iconic art installation,” “We are going to make that installation and we’re improving it, actually, right now and it will be a permanent art installation in the District.”
