Goin to buy a car is stressful enough, with the whole picking out a car, negotiating a price not to mention the financing process. So imagine sitting in a car dealership and a car comes not only crashing through the front door, but drives around the showroom.
A customer came to CarMax in Inglewood, California, to get an appraisal and evidently didn’t like the appraisal. The man allegedly stormed out, got into his vehicle, and drove straight into the building, in a scene that looked like it was straight out of the movies, causing injuries to 8 people, 2 of them critically.
CarMax released an official statement, making it clear they’re shaken by what went down.
“This afternoon, a customer drove through our Inglewood, California store, hitting and injuring several associates and customers who are receiving care at the hospital at this time,”
Police say the driver, whom police have not identified, left the store following the crash and turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department, facing multiple counts, including assault with a deadly weapon.
