Ashanti and Nelly Are Expecting Baby, Baby, Baby [VIDEO]

There is a saying, “If you love someone, set them free; if they come back to you, it was meant to be.”  Ashanti and Nelly were Hip Hop’s favorite couple when they hooked up in 2003, they tried to keep their relationship a secret and off the radar for 10 years before breaking up in 2013.  Then in 2023 Nelly and Ashanti joined together on stage to perform ‘Body On Me’ and every time you turn around these days it seems that the singer and rapper duo is joined at the hip.  

For Nelly’s 49th birthday in November Ashanti gave Nelly his dream car a royal blue 64’ Chevy Impala with “Ride Wit Me” blasting in the background.  Today the news is Ashanti is giving Nelly another gift a, Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby ♫

Congratulations are being said to be in order.

According to Us Weekly, which is citing a source that says, “Nelly and Ashanti are welcoming their first baby together”, if true, this will be be Ashanti’s first child and Nelly‘s 3rd.  Ashanti, 43, sparked pregnancy speculation over the weekend when she attended the 49 year old Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St. Louis with her partner.  During the event, the “Only U” singer put her hand on her stomach while on stage with Nelly and he did the same.
