CONGRATS: Snoop’s The Proud New Owner Of Death Row Records

56 year old Marion “Suge” Knight co-founder of Death Row Records is serving 28 years in prison for voluntary manslaughter and 28 years on a 56 year old man is pretty much a life sentence, and if not there isn’t too an 84 year old man can do with a Hip Hop record label.  However it appears that 50 year old Calvin ‘Snoop Dogg’ Broadus knows exactly what to do with one.  Number one purchase the label that brought you to the forefront, then number two, drop a new album.

There’s nothing better than owning your own sh@t !!

That’s right Snoop Dogg is coming back to where it all started from except this time he is the owner.  Snoop Dogg broke the news via his Instagram that he is now the proud owner of Death Row Records and with ownership comes dropping a new album titled ‘B. O. D. R.’ dropping Friday just two days before he struts out onto the Super Bowl halftime stage.

According to Uncle Snoop’s IG

“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value. It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members,”
