Cheryl James Say’s It Is A Salt with a Deadly Pepa Not With A Deadly Spin

The highly anticipated as well as watch biopic Salt-N-Pepa on the Lifetime movie channel dropped this past weekend, although Hip Hop fans was pumped to hear the back story behind the legendary rap duo not everyone, especially the ones that were in the background for the movie however felt they should have been standing side by side with them was happy ie Deidra Roper aka DJ Spinderella.  Spin felt some kind of way about not being able to be a voice in the biopic that was executively produced by Cheryl James aka Salt and Sandy Denton aka Pepa, so much so that she decided to express herself in a long IG post on her own personal page.  DJ Spinderella feels that she was equally important to the group and should be treated as such.

However Cheryl James aka Salt, not trying to add salt to Spinderella’s wounds, in a recent interview made it clear that the female groundbreaking group was, It Is A Salt with a Deadly Pepa Not With A Deadly Spin.

Do you think that Spinderella was just as important to the group as Salt-N-Pepa?

Take a listen to what Salt had to say about the matter below.
