Late actor Chadwick Boseman was best know for his role as King T’Challa in ‘Black Panther’, what many didn’t know was he was battling while working for his life. Chadwick Boseman persevered through it all, and brought fans many films such as Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. At the age of 43 years old Chadwick Boseman in 2020 lost his battle with at home surrounded by family, however film legacy lives on and on November 20, 2025 he will be immortalized for it.

Actor Chadwick Boseman will be honored posthumously with the 2,828th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, November 20, 2025, in the category of Motion Pictures. His widow, Simone Ledward-Boseman, will accept the recognition during a ceremony at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard, with Ryan Coogler, who directed him in Black Panther, and Viola Davis, his co-star in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom taking the stage to speak at the event.
