Atlanta was on fire figuratively and literally after a now ex Georgia Police officer shot Rayshard Brooks in the back, killing him, in what started as a man falling asleep in a Wendy’s drive-thru window.
Breaking news now is the officers involved in the incident have been charged with a crime and the one that pulled the trigger has been charged with felony murder.
The officer Rayshard Brooks encountered, Devin Brosnan, faces three charges, including aggravated assault for standing or stepping on Brooks’ shoulder after he was shot, the ex officer that fired the shot, Garrett Rolfe, faces 11 criminal charges, including felony murder. Devin Brosnan has agreed to testify against Garrett Rolfe.
