Boyz II Men, Wanya Morris, on Crutches And Wheel Chair Explained, Too Many ‘On Bended Knees’ [VIDEO]

Fans were super pumped a little over a week ago when news flooded social media that, ‘The New Edition Way Tour 2026’ featuring New Edition, Toni Braxton and Boyz II Men was coming to a city near you .  As pumped as fans are, many have been wondering why we keep seeing tour rehearsal videos circulating of all involved (including living legend Toni Braxton) doing the famous NE ‘If It Isn’t Love’ routine, why is Boyz II Men member Wanya Morris in a wheel chair or on crutches.  If you ask AI the response will be Wanya Morris is not in a wheelchair; his former Boyz II Men bandmate, Michael McCary, left the group due to health issues, including scoliosis. It appears there may be a mix-up between Wanya Morris and Michael McCary.  But clearly AI hasn’t been witnessing what we have been witnessing.  After much investigation The Sam Sylk Show has an answer as to why one of the most remarkable tenors of the 90’s, Wanya Morris, has been in a wheel chair and/or crutches.

Wanya Morris is famously known for his powerful, emotive, and agile lead tenor voice, which is a defining feature of the group Boyz II Men especially on their smash hit ‘On Bended Knee’. Wanya’s  vocal abilities include a wide range, remarkable control, and techniques like diaphragmatic control, nasalization, and a strong chest resonance, while moving on top of that.  Ironically the reasoning for Wanya Morris being in a wheel chair is because of too many ‘On Bended Knees’.

According to a post on Boyz II Men’s Facebook page, Wanya had this to say, along with a video…(click to watch)

Too many “On Bended Knees” finally caught up with Wanya 🤣😏
“Don’t worry… ‘I’m Doin’ Just Fine!’ I’ll be back stronger than ever in 4–6 weeks. Appreciate all the love and support from our amazing fans, y’all keep me going!”
