Body Cam Footage Released Of Black Woman’s Scalp Being Torn Off By Police Dog

Everybody say’s they can’t stand a thief and a liar, however, this sista was shoplifting but did not deserve the treatment she got when she got caught.

Talmika Bates admits she was shoplifting from the Brentwood Ultra Beauty store in California back in February.  Security camera footage shows Ms. Bates and two other suspects stealing allegedly $10,000 worth of perfume from the store.  After allegedly fleeing the scene, Talmika Bates and the other suspects got into a high-speed chase with police before the three women ditched the car.  It was what happened after police dogs found Talmika Bates hiding in a bush that has got everyone up in arms.

Not only did the police K-9 sniff Talmika Bates out they literally tore her scalp off her head and it was all caught on body cam.

According to Talmika Bates

“I just feel something attacking me, like paws on my back, then I start feeling rips from the scalp here, here, here and teeth grinding,”  “I thought I was going to die, I really did,” she continued. “No warning, no come out with your hands up, that would have been better for me, take me to jail.”

Brentwood Police Officers Association defense is that  their use of the police K-9 was legal and within the standard protocol.

Talmika Bates has now filed a lawsuit claiming police officers used excessive force by allowing the German Shepard to maul her for several minutes even after she begged them to call off the animal.
